Overview: Ridge Manor Oaks offers Dade City an 18-hole Oaks and Dunes routing with a par of 72 and up to approximately 6,712 yards. The layout combines a tree-lined Oaks nine with the more open Dunes nine, giving the course a mixed parkland and links-like texture.
History: Historical records place the original course in the mid-1950s and credit Hans Schmeisser, while Bob Carson is associated with later reopening and renovation work. The property was known as Whispering Oaks before its Ridge Manor Oaks identity and later shortened references to The Ridge.
Did You Know? The two nines are not simply named for decoration: published descriptions distinguish the wooded Oaks side from the more open Dunes side, so the visual character changes noticeably during the round.
