Richland Country Club

Overview: Richland Country Club is a Jack Nicklaus course in Nashville, shaped through rolling Tennessee parkland and mature trees. The current layout is listed at par 72 and roughly 7,098 yards, with water, bunkering and elevation changes producing a varied modern country-club test. Bill Bergin’s recent work is part of the course’s current presentation.

History: Richland’s original Jack Nicklaus Signature course dates to 1988. Richard Jacobson was associated with an earlier renovation, and Bill Bergin led more recent redesign work completed in 2021. The layered history explains why the current course is credited to Nicklaus while also recognizing the later renovation.

Did You Know? Richland’s course has passed through several design phases without losing its Nicklaus foundation. The current layout combines the original 1988 concept with Bill Bergin’s 2021 renovation work.
