Overview: The more forgiving sibling at the Ribagolfe complex, the Oaks Course (formerly Ribagolfe II) provides a high-quality club-level challenge through the same majestic cork oak forest as the Lakes course. Designed by Michael King, the layout features wider landing areas and more expansive fairways, allowing for a slightly more relaxed round while still demanding technical skill to avoid the many trees and strategically placed bunkers. It is a perfect complement to the tougher Lakes course, offering a more playable but equally scenic experience in the heart of the Portuguese interior.
Did You Know? Despite being the "easier" of the two Ribagolfe courses, the Oaks Course is still a substantial test that regularly hosts amateur championships. The course is particularly beautiful in the late afternoon, when the low sun casts long shadows through the native cork oaks, highlighting the undulating greens and the peaceful, natural character of the Vargem Fresca estate.
