Overview: The Preserve is Reynolds Lake Oconee’s original course in Greensboro, Georgia, a Bob Cupp design shaped around rolling ground and subtle changes in elevation. The layout is intended to offer strategic choices from the back tees while remaining approachable from forward sets, with Lake Oconee appearing in the wider setting.
History: Bob Cupp designed The Preserve with player consultants Fuzzy Zoeller and Hubert Green. The course opened in 1988 and received a 2016 renovation that added the Quick Six, a separate six-hole course within the property.
Did You Know? The Preserve contains the Quick Six, a six-hole short routing added in 2016 that gives the property a second way to experience Cupp’s design ideas.
