Overview: The Oconee at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia, is a spectacular resort championship parkland course designed by the legendary architect Rees Jones. Set in a forest of towering southern pines and mature hardwoods along the scenic shores of Lake Oconee, the course features flowing fairways, strategic sand bunkers, and Jones's signature complex green complexes.
History: Opened in 2002, The Oconee was designed by Rees Jones to establish a premier resort-access course that would offer a visually dramatic yet highly playable test of golf. The course has hosted several high-profile events, including the Linger Longer Invitational collegiate tournament. In 2013, the club updated the bunkers and greens to ensure premium tournament-level playing conditions year-round.
Did You Know? The course features water hazards on nine holes, with the par-four eighteenth hole playing directly along a scenic cove of Lake Oconee to a green nestled near the Ritz-Carlton resort.
