Overview: Perched on the very edge of the Westerschelde in Zeeland, Reymerswael Golf Club is a rugged and atmospheric seaside layout that captures the windswept soul of the southern coast. Designed by J.F. Dudok van Heel and later refined by Alan Rijks, the course is defined by its exposed fairways, low maritime vegetation, and the constant, tactical battle with the North Sea winds. With spectacular views of the Scheldt-Rhine Canal and its signature low-slung, "links-style" architecture, Reymerswael offers a purist's challenge where ball-flight control and creative shot-making are the ultimate strategic requirements.
Did You Know? The club's name is a tribute to the "Lost City of Reymerswael," a once-prosperous Zeeland trading town that was completely swallowed by the sea during a series of devastating storms in the 16th century. Playing the course is often described as playing on the "shore of history," where the presence of the water is a constant reminder of the region's ancient maritime triumphs and trials.
