Residentie Dronten Golf Club

Overview: Rising from the reclaimed floor of the Zuiderzee, Residentie Dronten is a high-drama parkland course that embodies the bold, engineering spirit of the Flevoland polders. Established as part of a unique residential-golf community, the course winds through young woodlands and past expansive water hazards that serve as both strategic puzzles and critical drainage for the polder. With its wide fairways and modern, "big-scale" design, it offers a par-72 challenge that rewards power and tactical adjustment to the wind, providing a sense of frontier-style scale that is unique to the youngest province in the Netherlands.

Did You Know? The entire Residentie Dronten estate sits several meters below the current sea level, on land that was underwater until the mid-20th century. During the course's construction, numerous fossils and maritime artifacts from the Zuiderzee era were unearthed, and the club's iconic clubhouse was designed to provide panoramic views of the very polder that was engineered to make this unique golfing community possible.
