Overview: Regnum Golf and Country Club Bodrum is an 18-hole, par-71 inland course set among pine forest, valleys, hills and olive groves on the Bodrum peninsula. Tim Lobb designed the course with developer Fikret Öztürk, while GolfTek handled the construction work. The club's official course page lists 6,120 metres, approximately 6,693 yards, and describes 32 pot bunkers, five lakes and spacious fairways across about 650,000 square metres. The open inland setting gives the round a broad visual scale, but the combination of water, bunkers and rolling ground keeps every approach tied to position.
History: Construction began in 2010 and planting started in 2017 before the grand opening in July 2018. The project was created as the first full-length golf facility on the Bodrum peninsula and as a sister development to Carya Golf Club in Belek. Its design was intended to work with the existing landscape, including an olive grove and the valley forms rather than replacing them with a uniform resort surface. That origin gives Regnum Bodrum a different personality from the denser golf cluster around Belek: it is a destination course built around the peninsula's natural scale.
Did You Know? The olive grove inside the golf property is managed for organic, extra-virgin olive oil by the Regnum group. It is a practical part of the estate as well as a visual feature, so the course's Mediterranean identity is connected to an active agricultural landscape. The five lakes and 32 pot bunkers then provide a deliberately designed contrast to the older olive trees and pine forest around them.
