Overview: Reflection Bay Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course along the northern shore of Lake Las Vegas. The current profile lists 7,261 yards and par 72. Five holes run beside roughly a mile and a half of shoreline, while desert hills, arroyos, strategic bunkering and the lake's changing edges give the routing an unusual oasis character. The eighth hole is a 200-yard par three with a peninsula reaching into the water, and the course's best moments come from the repeated shift between lake and desert.
History: Reflection Bay opened in 1998 as Jack Nicklaus's second course at Lake Las Vegas and the first resort Nicklaus Signature course in Nevada. It hosted the Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge from 1998 through 2007, bringing professional champions to the lake community. The layout later underwent a restoration guided by Nicklaus himself, preserving the original shoreline concept while renewing the course for modern play and resort golf.
Did You Know? The eighth hole's green sits on a peninsula that projects into Lake Las Vegas. Nicklaus Design also notes five shoreline holes along the course, so the lake is not a single backdrop: it repeatedly changes the angle, sightline and risk of the round.
