R&S Sharf Golf Course

Overview: R&S Sharf Golf Course is a public 18-hole layout at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Rick Smith is listed as the designer, with Warren Henderson also identified in course coverage, and the parkland routing uses wooded ground and changing elevation around the university property.

History: Sharf opened in 2000 as one of two golf courses at Oakland University. Later course coverage distinguishes Rick Smith’s design credit from Warren Henderson’s architectural listing, so both names are retained in the profile.

Did You Know? Sharf is part of a university golf complex rather than a standalone resort, sharing the Oakland University setting with another 18-hole course.
