Overview: Nestled between the historic town of Sintra and the coastal resort of Estoril, Quinta da Beloura is a lush and scenic parkland course designed by American architect Rocky Roquemore. The layout is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sintra Mountains and is famously landscaped with over 40,000 trees, including pines, oaks, and eucalyptus. Although the terrain is relatively flat, the course's primary defense lies in its abundant water hazards, with several lakes and streams ensuring that nearly every approach shot requires careful planning and execution.
Did You Know? The 18th hole at Beloura is widely considered one of the most challenging finishing holes in the Lisbon area, featuring a green that is almost entirely hidden behind a large lake. Success on this par-4 requires a brave and precise final strike, often making for a dramatic conclusion to the round in front of the resort's elegant clubhouse terrace.
