Overview: Quarry Pines Golf Club is a unique and visually striking course in Marana that was literally carved out of an active sand and gravel quarry. Originally designed as "The Pines" in 1997 and significantly renovated in 2003 by Brian Huntley, the course features dramatic 100-foot drops from the quarry walls and a routing that winds through the sunken mining pits. The par-71 layout provides a truly "one-of-a-kind" golf experience, with several holes offering stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains from deep within the quarry floor.
Did You Know? Quarry Pines was the first golf course in the world to be built within a former gravel quarry, a groundbreaking reclamation project that transformed an industrial site into a beautiful and popular recreational destination.
