Overview: Ghost Creek at Pumpkin Ridge is Bob Cupp's 18-hole public course near North Plains, Oregon. The par-71 layout uses wetlands, native vegetation and the winding creek to produce a naturalistic strategy in which angles and recovery options matter as much as raw length.
History: Groundbreaking began in 1990 and Ghost Creek opened in 1992. Its early reputation was reinforced when it was named Golf Digest's Best New Public Course, while the nearby Witch Hollow course later hosted the 1996 U.S. Amateur.
Did You Know? Ghost Creek hosted the Nike Tour Championship in 1993, only a year after the course was unveiled.
