Overview: Pula Golf at Son Servera presents 18 holes with a par of 72 on Mallorca, set among mature Mediterranean trees with the hills and bay country of the northeast island as its backdrop. José María Olazábal designed the course and later reshaped it for a more demanding modern test, using lakes, bunkers, changing approach angles and greens that reward control rather than a single repeated shot. The official course length is 6,246 metres, approximately 6,830 yards, matching the directory figure. Pula's parkland character is therefore not simply decorative: the trees frame the landing zones, while the revised hazards make the second shot a central part of the strategy.
History: Pula Golf opened in 1995 and Olazábal undertook a major redesign between 2004 and 2006. The work prepared the course for higher-level competition and helped establish it as one of Mallorca's recognised golf venues. Its later event history includes the Mallorca Classic on the PGA European Tour and the Olazábal & Nadal Invitational. The resort has consequently developed an unusual mix of holiday setting, tournament pedigree and a course that still asks for careful club selection.
Did You Know? Pula Golf has hosted the Mallorca Classic as well as the Olazábal & Nadal Invitational. The course's own description also notes that Olazábal, Rafael Nadal, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Sergio García have all played there. Those appearances reflect the course's dual identity as a resort layout and a venue capable of staging serious professional golf.
