Overview: Home to arguably the best front nine in golf. The course winds through the towering dunes of 'Thistly Hollow'. The first tee shot, played from a high elevation down to a dogleg fairway, is iconic.
Did You Know? While the club is old, the 'Strand' course as we know it is relatively new. Seven new holes were built in the dunes in the late 1980s by local teacher Des Giffin, transforming it from a good course into a world-class one.
