Overview: Portsmouth Country Club is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. parkland course set beside Great Bay in Greenland, New Hampshire. The routing combines broad views, mature landscape, and a substantial 7,149-yard par-72 test that rewards accurate positioning through the changing coastal weather.
History: The club dates to 1901 and began with an Alex Findlay nine-hole course before expanding. After the original property was taken by eminent domain, Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed a new 18-hole course in 1956, and the course officially opened in July 1957.
Did You Know? Portsmouth's present course was built as a complete replacement after the club's earlier site was lost to eminent domain.
