Overview: Poppy Ridge Golf Course is a spectacular and technical championship layout designed by the legendary Rees Jones. Opened in 1996, the course is a model of his "bold and heroic" philosophy, featuring wide, lush fairways, significant elevation changes, and Jones’s signature large green complexes. The layout meanders through a landscape of natural topography and mature landscaping, offering panoramic views of the Livermore Valley and a serene, "high-stakes" atmosphere. Characterized by its impeccable conditioning and its strategic "target-style" routing, Poppy Ridge provides a rigorous and visually engaging test of championship golf.
Did You Know? Poppy Ridge is the headquarters of the Northern California Golf Association and has famously hosted multiple NCGA events; its strategic design and its impeccably manicured conditions have made it a favorite for local golfers seeking a high-quality competitive venue in a relaxed setting.
