Overview: Polo Trace Golf Club was an 18-hole Delray Beach course with 7,068 yards at par 72 from the championship tees. Its parkland routing used water, wetlands and a sequence of holes that asked players to manage risk around the hazards.
History: Course records credit Karl Litten with the original design and Joey Sindelar with consulting work, with the course opening in 1989. The former club was later converted for residential redevelopment and is not presented here as a currently playable facility.
Did You Know? The course was known for consecutive par 5s at the 10th and 11th, a stretch that could reward an aggressive player but also magnify a poor decision near the wetlands.
