Overview: Pointe West Country Club At Pointe West, a private Vero Beach course offers 18 holes with a par of 72 and 6,864 yards from the longest listed tees. The course was shaped from a former citrus grove, using elevated tees and landing areas, mounding, bunkers and water to frame a strategic coastal Florida layout.
History: The club's golf history dates the development to 1999 and credits John Sanford with the design. The course remains part of the private Pointe West community, where the routing is intended to reward choices about position and angle rather than simply distance.
Did You Know? The 16th is listed as a 598-yard hole, while the 18th brings a prominent water feature into the finishing stretch.
