Overview: The Plantation at Ponte Vedra is a private 18-hole course at 101 Plantation Drive in Ponte Vedra Beach. Published course records list a par of 72 and 7,141 yards from the back tees. The layout moves through a coastal Florida community with lakes, canals, mature oaks, water hazards and more than 50 bunkers.
History: The original course is attributed to Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and dates to the late 1980s. Greg Letsche led a comprehensive renovation that reopened in 2016, with new greens, drainage, irrigation, teeing areas and bunker systems. The current club describes the course as a member-focused layout with seven teeing options and year-round playability.
Did You Know? The 15th hole has an island green, while published course records report water on 16 holes. That combination makes the course's coastal setting part of its strategic identity rather than just a backdrop.
