Overview: Placid Lakes Country Club, currently presented as Placid Lakes Golf Course, is an 18-hole public course at 3601 Placid Lakes Boulevard in Lake Placid. Current course records list par 72 and 6,911 yards from the black tees. The official site describes a central Florida setting in the Lake Placid and Sebring area, with public tee times, memberships and a restaurant and bar.
History: The official course site says Placid Lakes opened in 2005. It was developed as a modern golf facility in the area's lake country and continues to offer public play alongside memberships and golf outings. Older directories sometimes show different yardages or status labels, so the current official public operation and the current scorecard record are used here.
