Piper's Landing Country Club

Overview: Piper's Landing Country Club is a private 18-hole course at 6160 SW Thistle Terrace in Palm City. The club's current golf page lists a championship layout of 6,939 yards and describes palm trees, oak hammocks, tropical plantings, lakes and natural marsh areas. Golf access is reserved for resident members and their guests.

History: Piper's Landing was designed in the early 1980s by Joe Lee and underwent a major redesign by Gene Bates Golf Design in 2007. The club describes the renovation as a $4 million project that modernized the course while maintaining the original design principles. The current course remains part of the resident-member yacht and country club.

Did You Know? Piper.s Landing keeps roughly 14 acres of native grass inside the course environment. The club says those areas help restore wetland character and support wildlife while reducing irrigated turf.
