Overview: Pinnacle Country Club is a private parkland course in Rogers, in the fast-growing Northwest Arkansas region. The current profile lists 7,001 yards and par 71. Mature trees, shaped fairways and the subtle movement of the land give the layout a traditional character, while its polished conditioning reflects its role as a major regional golf venue. Don Sechrest's design uses the former open farmland as the foundation for a course that is strategic and tournament-ready without losing the sense of a Northwest Arkansas landscape.
History: Pinnacle's official history traces the project to 1988, when local golfers and developers led by Berky Resources and Red Hudson began turning farmland into a club originally called Champions Golf & Country Club. Don Sechrest designed the course with Bruce Lietzke, and the layout opened in 1990. The club later became a regular stage for high-level competition, including the LPGA Tour's Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, which made the Rogers course familiar to a much wider golfing audience.
Did You Know? The club's original name was Champions Golf & Country Club, reflecting the ambition of the Northwest Arkansas project from the start. The course's later association with the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship added a second chapter, connecting a private Rogers layout with one of the region's most visible professional sporting events.
