Overview: Pine Canyon Club is a private Jay Morrish mountain course in Flagstaff, immersed in ponderosa pines beneath the San Francisco Peaks. The 7,272-yard par-71 layout uses elevation changes, streams, ponds, native grasses, and broad views to create a high-country course with a strong sense of place.
History: Jay Morrish designed the course as the centerpiece of a private golf community that opened in 2004. The course and community were planned around the surrounding forest and mountain setting rather than treating the landscape as a backdrop.
Did You Know? Pine Canyon's clubhouse includes a 1944 Santa Fe railroad caboose positioned behind the ninth green.
