Overview: Located in Palm Beach Gardens, the Champion Course at PGA National is a parkland layout defined by its strategic water hazards and deep bunkers. The highlight is the "Bear Trap," a three-hole stretch (15th, 16th, and 17th holes) that tests shot-making under pressure.
History: Originally designed by Tom and George Fazio in 1981, the course was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1990 and 2014, and has hosted the Ryder Cup and PGA Championship.
Did You Know? A bronze statue of a bear stands at the entry to the 15th hole, marking the start of the difficult Bear Trap finishing stretch.
