Overview: Located in Cervia on the Adriatic coast, the Percorso Rosso is a nine-hole parkland layout at Adriatic Golf Club Cervia. The routing winds through a dense umbrella pine and coastal forest, offering sheltered corridors and a classic woodland atmosphere. The flat terrain is defended by strategically placed water hazards and small, bunkers-guarded greens that require high accuracy on approach shots.
History: Designed by Italian architect Marco Croze, the Red Course opened in 1986 as the club's inaugural nine holes, followed a year later by the Blue Course. Croze integrated the holes into the area's natural pine groves, creating a routing that respected the coastal environment while offering a distinct tactical challenge. The club was later expanded to 27 holes.
Did You Know? The club's three nine-hole loops (Rosso, Blu, and Giallo) represent different eras and styles of design, with the Rosso loop representing a traditional Italian forest routing that stands in contrast to the more open, American-style holes of the newer loops.
