Overview: Marsh and Lakes make a 72-par, 18-hole combination at Peninsula, where Earl Stone’s coastal design uses wetlands, lakes, waste areas, and Gulf wind.
History: Peninsula developed as a twenty-seven-hole property with the Marsh, Lakes, and Cypress nines. The current club history records multiple ownership phases, including the Scratch Golf acquisition in 2023, while the course remains identified with Stone’s original design.
Did You Know? The Lakes and Marsh nines have different water personalities. The Lakes nine uses more visible lake hazards, while the Marsh nine brings wetlands and waste areas into the landing and approach decisions.
