Overview: Situated in southwest Rome, the Bianco and Blu courses at Parco De' Medici Golf Club form a traditional championship layout. The design features relatively flat, open parkland corridors that are heavily guarded by mature trees and strategic water hazards. Wide fairways and large, modern green complexes demand accurate distance control, with water playing a prominent role on multiple holes.
History: Designed by Davide Mezzacane and Peter Fazio, the course opened in 1990 to provide the Italian capital with a modern resort golf facility. The layout was carefully constructed to integrate several large artificial lakes and drainage systems. Over the years, the course has hosted multiple editions of the Italian Ladies Open and professional events.
Did You Know? The course is located adjacent to a historic hunting lodge that once belonged to the famous Medici family, providing a classical Renaissance backdrop to the resort's modern golf and lodging facilities.
