Overview: Parahyangan Golf Bandung is an 18-hole, par-72 mountain course in Kota Baru Parahyangan, west of Bandung. The operator publishes a 7,298-yard layout and identifies JMP Golf Design Group, with Bob Moore as lead designer. The course occupies elevated ground shaped by valleys, lakes, seasonal rivers and views toward surrounding mountains, while rice fields and farms remain part of the wider landscape. The routing is designed to use those changes in elevation and natural features rather than flattening the site into a uniform parkland course.
History: The club's official about page says first operation began on 15 August 2018. JMP's own portfolio page describes the course and its setting but gives a 2020 opening reference, so the operator's detailed first-operation date is used here and the conflicting secondary date is not repeated as fact. The course quickly became part of Indonesia's tournament and destination-golf conversation, with the Asian Development Tour's Combiphar Players Championship among the events cited by current course material.
Did You Know? Parahyangan uses Zeon Zoysia on its playing surfaces, a detail the operator highlights as a first for an Indonesian course. Its official description also counts 166 bunkers across the 18 holes. Combined with ravines, the edge of Lake Saguling and seasonal watercourses, that bunker count helps explain why the course's visual interest comes from both landform and carefully placed hazards.
