Panther Run Golf Club

Overview: Panther Run Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Ave Maria, east of Naples, within the Del Webb Naples community. The current official course page lists par 72 and 7,532 yards from the back tees, with Gordon Lewis credited for the design. The routing moves through wetlands and palm-lined fairways, with multiple tee boxes and wide landing areas that make the long scorecard more adaptable than its headline yardage suggests.

History: Panther Run was built for the Del Webb Naples community during Ave Maria’s early development. Course records date the build to 2007, while the town itself was founded in 2005. The club is now operated as a public golf destination, and the official site makes online tee times available to visitors without requiring membership.

Did You Know? The Panther Run name is tied to the region’s earlier Florida panther territory. The official club describes the course as a layout through native landscaping, wetlands and palm-lined fairways, so the name refers to the landscape and local heritage as well as the community’s identity.
