Overview: Palmira Golf & Country Club’s Osprey/Egret combination is an 18-hole private course in Bonita Springs, using two of the three nines at the Gordon G. Lewis-designed Palmira Golf Club. The current black-tee record is par 72 and 7,348 yards. Its route-specific scorecard and ratings distinguish it from Palmira’s Egret/Ibis and Ibis/Osprey combinations.
History: Palmira’s golf community opened around 2001, while route-specific Golfify records date the current combination records to 2005. The Florida State Golf Association lists Osprey/Egret as an official combination and provides its separate ratings. That distinction matters here because Palmira is a 27-hole facility with three possible 18-hole sequences.
Did You Know? Osprey/Egret starts with Palmira’s Osprey nine and finishes with Egret, reversing the order used by the Egret/Ibis combination. The black-tee record is 7,348 yards, giving the route a slightly shorter championship card than Palmira’s other two published combinations.
