Overview: Palm Springs Golf & Country Club Karawang Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course in West Java, positioned between Jakarta and Bandung near the Karawang Barat exit of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. The current operator identifies the course as formerly Sedana Golf & Country Club and credits Mark F. Rathert of Rathert International Golf Design. About 75 hectares of gently rolling tropical ground are shaped around ponds, streams and bunkers, creating a green golf setting inside Karawang's industrial corridor.
History: Current course information dates the original opening to 1996 and identifies Sinar Mas Land as owner and operator. The name change from Sedana Golf & Country Club to Palm Springs Golf & Country Club Karawang Course is retained as an alias because both names refer to the same address and routing. The present official course page still shows all 18 holes and describes the clubhouse and residential-community setting, so the directory identity is stable.
Did You Know? Palm Springs Karawang is known for placing bunkers across the fairways as well as around the greens. That changes the decision on a good drive: the safest landing area may not be the most obvious strip of short grass, and power alone does not remove the risk. Lakes and streams add a second layer of positioning questions, while the surrounding industrial landscape makes the course's planted interior feel especially distinct.
