Overview: Ozarks National occupies rolling Ozarks terrain at Big Cedar Lodge near Hollister, Missouri. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw routed broad fairways, native habitat, rocky ground and changing elevation into a public course that favors strategic width and creative approaches.
History: Ozarks National opened in 2018 as Missouri's first course designed by Coore and Crenshaw. The course was developed as part of Big Cedar Lodge's expanding golf destination, with the architects using existing Ozarks landforms as the primary design material.
Did You Know? A large wooden beam and plank bridge carries the 13th hole over a flowing creek. The structure is both a practical connection and one of the course's most recognizable pieces of course architecture.
