Overview: Overlake Golf & Country Club is an eighteen-hole private parkland course in Medina, Washington. The current course is associated with A.V. Macan and later improvement work by Jeff Mingay, with the blue tees listed at about 6,106 yards and par 71.
History: An earlier Overlake course dates to 1927 but closed during the Great Depression. A redesigned eighteen-hole course was established on the 132-acre property in 1953, creating the foundation of the present club.
Did You Know? The property spent roughly fifteen years as pasture between the first course’s closure and the 1953 reopening. Overlake therefore has two distinct golf beginnings: a short-lived 1927 course and the current postwar layout.
