Outdoor Resorts Golf Course

Overview: Outdoor Resorts Golf Course is an 18-hole par-3 executive course at the Outdoor Resort community in Indio. The current resort material highlights ponds, waterfalls and mountain views rather than a long championship layout, making this a recreational short course built into a motorcoach-resort setting. The directory’s exact routing is retained, but the operator evidence supports a private resident-and-guest amenity rather than an open public tee-time facility. A dependable current total yardage and architect credit were not found, so those fields remain unfilled.

History: The course is documented as part of Outdoor Resort Indio’s broader recreation program, alongside the resort’s clubhouse, pools, fitness spaces and social facilities. The sources reviewed describe the current 18-hole par-3 course and its landscape but do not publish a reliable opening date or a detailed architectural history. The profile therefore avoids attaching a resort construction date to the golf course and keeps the historical account limited to what the present operator confirms.

Did You Know? Eighteen holes does not mean a regulation par-72 round here: the operator specifically calls the layout an 18-hole par-3 executive course. That makes it suited to short-game practice, relaxed resort play and golfers who want to finish a complete hole-by-hole round in less time. The water features are part of the course’s stated character, not a claim about any particular hole.
