Overview: Otter Creek Golf Course North/West is the original eighteen-hole public routing at the Columbus, Indiana facility. The course uses a parkland setting with tree-lined corridors, water, and the varied terrain that defines the larger Otter Creek complex.
History: Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed the original North and West nines, which opened in 1964. Otter Creek later added an East nine by Rees Jones in 1995, creating a twenty-seven-hole facility. The North/West combination also hosted the 1991 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship.
Did You Know? The North/West routing was the championship stage for the 1991 U.S. Amateur Public Links. That event gives this public course a place in national amateur golf history beyond its role as a local twenty-seven-hole facility.
