Overview: Otsuki Garden Golf Club presents threads through the hills around Tsuru with a 6,368-yard par-72 layout, a single bent green and the sort of elevation changes that make club selection more important than the scorecard length suggests. The course has a garden-like name, but the golf is defined by changing lies and narrow decisions.
History: Otsuki Garden entered service in 1995. Otsuki Garden opened on 1 August 1995 under the supervision of Katsuichi Asami. Accordia's current course information identifies the routing as a hilly 18-hole course and retains the original opening date. The design has remained a compact example of late-20th-century Japanese mountain golf.
Did You Know? The course is built around a pair of nines that are close in scale but different in feel. The finish is not simply a short closing run: the published hole information puts the larger strategic demands into the changing elevation and the shape of the green approaches. Although the property is hilly, the course is presented as a compact, playable example of late-20th-century mountain golf, with one bent green and a clear two-nine structure.
