Overview: Osprey Point is a public Tom Fazio course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, where generous fairways and greens are set among freshwater lagoons, maritime woods, and marsh edges. The par-72 layout is built around playability, but its water lines and approach contours still demand careful club selection and controlled angles into the putting surfaces.
History: Osprey Point opened in 1988 and began as a members-only course on Kiawah Island. The layout was completely renovated in 2014 under Tom Fazio’s direction, preserving the course’s broad, playable character while bringing the greens, bunkers, and surrounding presentation to a modern resort standard.
Did You Know? The scorecard has four par-3s, four par-5s, and ten par-4s. That balanced distribution helps explain the variety of the round, with the short holes and longer scoring holes asking for different decisions rather than repeating one type of challenge.
