Overview: Oso Creek Golf Course is a public 18-hole course in Mission Viejo, designed by Ted Robinson as a par-59 layout of about 3,670 yards. Two creeks, Bermuda fairways, bentgrass greens and water on eight holes give the compact course a varied parkland character, with enough hazards to make short-game control matter.
History: Ted Robinson designed the course in 1970. It was previously known as Casta Del Sol, and the City of Mission Viejo acquired the facility in 2019 before the current Oso Creek identity took hold. The municipal history and current course details are kept separate from the older name so the routing remains clear.
Did You Know? The course’s two creeks are part of its name and its strategy. They help divide the property and create water decisions on a layout that does not need long holes to ask precise questions around approaches and recovery shots.
