Overview: Olde Stonewall Golf Club is a public course in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. Its parkland routing uses rolling ground, deep bunkering and shaped green complexes to create a demanding but playable daily-fee layout.
History: The course was founded in 1999 and quickly appeared on new-course lists. The design team built the layout as a public facility rather than adapting an older private-club routing, which explains its consistent visual language from the opening hole onward.
Did You Know? Olde Stonewall was selected by Golf Magazine among the top ten new public courses in 1999. The course's design team later became associated with the Fry/Straka practice.
