Overview: Old Toccoa Farm in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, is a spectacular semi-private mountain course designed by the respected architectural duo of Dave Axland and Dan Proctor. Winding beautifully through rolling hills, rocky outcroppings, and mature hardwood forests along the Toccoa River, the course features highly strategic fairways, native grass areas, and complex, undulating green complexes.
History: Developed over several years and fully opened as an 18-hole course in 2020, Old Toccoa Farm was designed with a minimalist philosophy. Axland and Proctor, renowned for their design work with Coore & Crenshaw, utilized the natural contours of the rugged Appalachian terrain to design the course with minimal earth-moving, ensuring a highly naturalistic playing experience.
Did You Know? The course features dramatic elevation changes of over 280 feet, with close-up views of the Toccoa River and the surrounding Chattahoochee National Forest framing the strategic, mountain-style holes.
