Overview: In Purchase, Old Oaks presents a par-70 routing that extends beyond 6,900 yards. Its identity comes from a classic architectural lineage, with the original A.W. Tillinghast concept joined by the work of C.H. Allison, Harry Colt and later restoration by Rees Jones.
History: The current course was completed in 1927 after the project began with Tillinghast’s original design. Ken Dye renovated the layout in 2001, and Rees Jones returned in 2016, continuing a long effort to keep the course’s historic strategy relevant without erasing its early character.
Did You Know? The par-3 seventh is known for a creek and exposed masonry walls, an unusual piece of construction detail that makes the hole memorable beyond its scorecard length.
