Old North State Club

Overview: At Badin Lake in New London, Old North State's Tom Fazio routing. The routing makes use of lakeshore ground, wooded corridors and changing views toward the water. The club describes the course as a par-72 layout with five teeing options, so the round can be set up for different abilities without changing its private access.

History: The course dates to the early 1990s and was developed as the golf centerpiece of a lake community. Old North State's own golf material identifies Tom Fazio as the architect and emphasizes the way the holes follow the shoreline and surrounding Piedmont terrain.

Did You Know? Old North State's signature setting is Badin Lake rather than an ocean coastline. The distinction is useful because the course's name can sound like a generic North Carolina resort label, while the official club material specifically places its golf experience around the lake.
