Overview: Old American is a spectacular and scenic championship layout designed by the team of Tripp Davis and Justin Leonard. Located on the shores of Lake Lewisville, the course is famous for its routing through the mature landscaping and along the water's edge, offering spectacular views of the bay and the surrounding islands. The par-71 layout features many of the most recognizable holes in Texas, including several that play directly along the cliffside. As a multi-year host of the LPGA Tour's Volunteers of America Classic, it provides a high-quality experience that is a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
Did You Know? The course is built on what was once a prehistoric lakebed, and its name reflects the massive deposits of sand that provided the perfect foundation for an authentic links-style experience in the heart of the Midwest.
