Overview: The golf course at Ojai Valley Inn is a mountain-valley layout with mature trees, open corridors and views toward the Topatopa Mountains. Though shorter than many modern resort layouts, its par-70 routing relies on angles, green approaches and the changing texture of the Ojai landscape.
History: George C. Thomas Jr. and William P. Bell designed the original course in 1923. Jay Morrish renovated it in 1988, and the Lost Holes were added in 1999. The resort history documents these stages and identifies the current layout as a continuation of the valley course.
Did You Know? The Lost Holes were added to the Ojai Valley Inn property in 1999, giving the course history a distinct later chapter while the main routing still traces back to the 1923 Thomas and Bell design.
