Overview: Valley/Oasis is one of the three 18-hole routings at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler. Ted Robinson’s 27-hole design opened in 1986 and uses water, waterfalls, planted banks and lush fairways to create an oasis in the Phoenix area. The Valley/Oasis combination is therefore best understood as part of a flexible destination facility rather than as a separate club. Its location near the airport and the southeast Valley’s hotels makes it an easy fit for a short golf stay, while the generous visual scale and water hazards give the round a character distinct from more exposed desert layouts.
History: Ocotillo was built during the growth of Chandler and has kept its original three-nine operating model for decades. The operator, Arcis Golf, continues to present Robinson’s design as the foundation of the experience, with the three routes providing variety for repeat play. The property has also received golf-publication recognition and hosted major events, helping it become one of the Phoenix metro area’s most recognisable public golf destinations.
Did You Know? Valley/Oasis is not a separate 18-hole property. It is one of three possible combinations at Ocotillo, where the same 27 holes can produce a different round from day to day.
