North Ranch Country Club (Oaks / Lakes)

Overview: North Ranch Country Club is a spectacular 27-hole complex nestled in the rolling hills of Westlake Village. The "Oaks/Lakes" composite layout is the most technical and visually striking configuration, characterized by its narrow, tree-lined fairways and Ted Robinson’s signature "waterscapes." Originally designed by Robinson Sr. and opened in 1976, the "Oaks" and "Valley" nines underwent a major modernizing renovation in 2024 by Jackson-Kahn Design. The updated layout features refined bunkering, expansive sandy waste areas, and modernized green complexes that reward absolute precision. The course meanders through a landscape of majestic oaks and natural creeks, offering a quiet and serene environment that preserves the club's historic "Golden Age" feel.

Did You Know? The "Lakes" nine was co-designed by Ted Robinson Sr. and his son, Ted Robinson Jr., in 1989; the recent 2024 restoration by Jackson-Kahn was a landmark project that revitalized the property's strategic depth, solidifying its status as one of the premier private destination tracks in Southern California.
