Overview: Situated within the Nordelta residential enclave in Tigre, Buenos Aires, Nordelta Golf Club offers a modern, tournament-level parkland layout. The routing is built around massive artificial lakes and features wide, sweeping fairways. The absence of tall trees exposes the course to strong delta winds, while deep bunkers, lateral water hazards, and complex, multi-tiered greens require excellent wind play and distance control.
History: Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course opened in 2008 as the centerpiece of a premium residential project. Heavy earthworks were used to shape the flat marshlands into a strategic landscape. The course quickly became a premier venue for professional tournaments, hosting the Argentine Open on multiple occasions, including events co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour Latinoamérica.
Did You Know? Winding through the Tigre delta marshes, the course features several holes where golfers must choose between a safe route or carrying their shots across wide lagoons to secure a better angle to the green.
