Overview: Located on the shores of the Gulf of Finland in Raseborg, the Benz Course at Nordcenter Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole parkland course designed by American architect Bradford Benz. The layout winds through mature pine and birch forests and features wide fairways, dramatic rock outcroppings, and expansive green complexes. The course demands strategic tee shot placement to secure favorable angles into the large, heavily contoured putting surfaces.
History: Opened in 1993, the Benz Course was added to the historic Åminnefors manor estate to establish a premier 36-hole resort complex alongside the older Fream Course. Benz utilized the rolling forest topography to design a highly playable and strategic course that contrasts with the steep, dramatic terrain of its sister layout.
Did You Know? The greens on the Benz Course are among the largest in Finland, with several green complexes averaging over 8,000 square feet. This scale makes lag putting and precise approach shot sectioning critical to avoid three-putts.
