Overview: Nofa Golf Resort is an extraordinary parkland-style championship course located 100 kilometers southwest of Riyadh. Designed by Barrie Gregson and opened in 2013, the layout is a stunning environmental achievement, featuring 18 holes of emerald fairways and 12 significant water hazards in the middle of a desert oasis. The course is part of a massive luxury resort that includes an equestrian center and a safari park, offering a unique and visually arresting golfing experience where lush vegetation and manicured turf meet the towering red sands of the Saudi desert.
Did You Know? Nofa is world-famous for its "safari holes"—between the 8th and 9th holes, players pass through an active wildlife park where animals such as giraffes, Arabian oryx, ostriches, and antelopes are frequently visible from the fairways. It's the only course in the world where you might find yourself waiting for a giraffe to cross the path on your way to the next tee, making every round a surreal desert adventure.
